01-18-11 – Detroit, MI>Cleveland, OH – We are a working cover band looking for a lead guitarist. Backing vocals is a plus but not necessary. Looking for someone who really can commit to getting out there and getting more shows. Must be able to practice once a week, and willing to gig 1 to 2 weekends a month (or more). Playing rock/alt rock/punk 80′s through today (we are thiking of adding 70′s as well). You’ll be expected to help choose songs and we try to learn 3 or more songs a week. You should know that you won’t always like the music you are playing, part of being a good cover band is playing what PEOPLE WANT TO HEAR, yes we know Nickleback sucks, and yes we know Crazy Bitch is annoying but there’s no way around the fact that people know and want to hear those songs/artists. 12-17-10 – Milwaukee, WI>Chicago, IL – Lead/Rhythm Guitar Players Needed.
Looking for a lead/rhythm guitar players (thinking about having 2 players)to start up/keep going a band that is more focused on hard rock/party/bar songs (Theory Of A Deadman – Bad Girlfriend, Buckcherry – Crazy Bitch, Hinder – Get Stoned, etc…) but will also do some of the “standard” cover band stuff, along with some classic rock. 80s, some off the wall remakes, just some good variety, but focused mainly on hard rock. Because of experience, those songs got people into it a lot more at our gigs. Looking to be more entertaining, getting the audience involved kinda thing.

Vocals are definetely a plus..we have a bass player, and I’m the vocalist but I can also play lead guitar/keyboards/bass/drums, whatever…and getting some lead vocal breaks in the sets would be good too, so I would be able to swap instruments for the song…
I just don’t really care for playing and singing at the same time, its also more appealing visually to have a mobile singer…
