New womens’ apparel company launching a new line of vintage-inspired dresses is seeking a female fit model for a few hours of work. This is a freelance, paid-per-project opportunity.
Fit experience a plus, though not required.
Your main duty will be to try on garment samples and remain still while sample is pinned and adjusted, and give feedback on how the garment wears.

To apply for this opportunity, you must:
-Be a medium size 8, and fit the exact body measurements as listed below
-Have reliable transportation and live within commuting distance of Vernon (south of downtown LA), where fit sessions will take place
-Be highly reliable and professional: punctuality is an absolute must
-Be available for fit sessions during normal business hours (Mon.-Fri. 9-6)
-Be able to communicate and describe any fit discomforts on the garment and provide constructive criticism
-Be patient and willing to cooperate and follow directions as and when given to you
-Be able to interact well with professionals present at the fit session
-Ages between 20 and 35 strongly preferred

You need to fit the below measurements exactly, or very closely:
-Bust: 36″
-Waist: 28″
-Low hip: 39″
-Bra cup: 36B or 34C
-Height: ideally between 5’6″ and 5’7″, but no less than 5’5″ and no more than 5’8″

The first fit session is expected to take place in mid January, and will last for approximately 2 hours. Additional fit sessions may be required at a later date. Opportunities for future freelance work may also become available if we are satisfied with your professionalism.
Payment is $50 payable on the day of the fit session. Free parking is available.

I do, however, strongly believe in compensating all artists for their hard work, so I will gladly offer you a finished designer garment of your choice from my collection (dress or top with pant/skirt that would normally retail for $500-$1000) at the completion of the assignment, which will be in late April/early May 2012.
