03-09-12 – Los Angeles, CA>San Diego, CA – We are looking for African American Male Hair models that meet the following requirements to promote our hair color product for Men.

Below are the model requirements we are seeking:

1) African American Male Hair Models
2) Willing to apply cream on his hair (Not actual hair color)
3) Ages 25-45 yrs old

Model Casting will take place in Cypress, CA (Orange County) on Friday, March 9th at 9am-Noon and 1pm -5pm.

The actual photo shoot will take place on Tuesday, March 13th at 11am-1pm or 2pm-4pm. Models will need to be available on this day.

MOVIE TITLE: LATHEM – Test movie for Amazon Studios contest
GENRE: Western, Supernatural, Drama
SETTING: 1871, Texas Cattle Ranch, Main House
CHARACTER: FELICITY
CHARACTER DESCRIPTION: Early twenties. Born in England. Daughter of Paul, the butler/right hand man to Claude. Sister to Larry. She lives under the thumb of her domineering father. She wants desperately to be free of her father and hopes that her romance with Lathem will be her salvation. However, she thinks that Lathem is weak and she doubts that he will ever be able to save her from her plight.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION
This is an independent film. It is what Amazon Studios calls a “test movie.” (A high quality sound track with actors, sound effects, and musical score, which is then paired with a story board). Normally a test movie would only call for voice actors to do the sound track. I’m doing something a little different, which requires on-camera actors. Not only will your voice will be heard, but your face will also appear on screen as well.

BLUE SCREEN
You will perform in front of (and behind) a blue screen. Depending on how the project evolves, you may wind up wearing a blue hood that shows only your face (I prefer to avoid this). You will not be moving your body at all. You may or may not be allowed to move your head. Beyond that, your acting (facial expressions and the delivery of your lines) must be authentic.

CHARACTER DESCRIPTION: Supporting role. Larry was born and raised in England but now lives in Texas on the largest cattle ranch in United States. His father has positioned himself at the right hand of the man running the place. He has become a cowboy on the ranch and loves it. He is secretly ambitious to start his own cattle ranch. His father has other plans however, and has made arrangements for him to serve an apprenticeship for a printer in New York. Larry knows he cannot argue with his strong willed father. But being equally strong willed he makes plans of his own. However, when his father and sister are murdered, he thinks only of revenge and will hear of nothing else until he has it.

PAY
This project pays nothing unless we win one of the Amazon Studios contests which, given the number of entries, is unlikely (statistically speaking anyway).
At the very least, you get:
1.) The experience of working in a blue screen environment.
2.) Exposure to potentially hundreds of industry professionals on Amazon Studios.
3.) Possible IMDB credit.
