11-02-11 – Nashville, TN>St Louis, MO – Hello! I play guitar and I’ve been waiting to start a project for a few years. Drums and guitar are the instruments. Feel things out. Be dynamic. Build and break down. Go between 4/4 and 6/8. Mostly just be insane with me. I’ve made these songs that are about 2 to 3 minutes long. They are intense and dissonant but blur the lines of great pop. I run with two amps. One is clean and one is distorted. To get down into the nifty gritty riffs, I use an octave pedal to grab the low bass feel missing from a two piece. I just want shit to be kind of insane. Kind of like Test Icicles but less dancy. Like Liars but less no-wavey. Like Dead Kennedys but more busy. Like if The Death Set was fleshed out and less wasted all the time. I just want to get a crazy lady to sing and howl over the top. Let me know if this sounds interesting at all.
