Right now, we consist of a Guitar player(21) and a bass player(21), guitar sings and would like to be the main focus on vocals unless we can find someone to split.

01-04-12 – Detroit, MI>Cleveland, OH – I’m a multi-instrumentalist looking for other musicians who are interested in starting an indie art rock project after the mad rush of the holidays is over. I’m hoping to assemble a large-ish lineup (is 6-9 musicians entirely unreasonable?). I’d like to find as many other multi-instrumentalists as possible, so that we have lots of options for arrangements – but don’t let that scare you off, especially if you’re a good pianist or drummer! It wouldn’t be a full-time commitment type of thing, and I don’t plan to push for live performances right away, because I’d rather have some very carefully crafted and well-rehearsed pieces of music recorded before we take it live. I do plan to take it live eventually, it’s just not my highest priority right off the bat.
For my part, I play over twenty instruments, mostly strings and brass, but I’m especially looking for better pianists, percussionists, and woodwind players than myself, as those tend to be my weak points. 12-28-11 – San Diego, CA>Los Angeles, CA – We’re currently a 4-piece Indie Rock Folk group looking for a drummer. We consist of guitar/vox/accordion/ukulele/melodica/keys, violinist/guitar/ukulele, trumpet/piano/guitar/ukulele and bass/accordion/melodica/flute (we also have a trombone, trumpet, banjo, harmonica, theremin, and keyboard lying around we’d like to tinker with).

We’re between the ages of 22-27, but we have no age restrictions. We just want people who are willing to commit and can travel/tour. The music itself sounds similar to Neutral Milk Hotel and Arcade Fire but we are also influenced by bands like Decemberists, Tindersticks, Defiance Ohio, Andrew Jackson Jihad, Beulah, Man Man, Rock Plaza Central, Joanna Newsom. We’d like to have a lot of layers, instrumentation, and dynamics. We also don’t want to stick to one mood or tempo, or always have the same instruments being played.

We’re also looking for musicians who can play multiple instruments, particularly trumpet or trombone, as well as instruments that can add texture to the music: anything from guitar, banjo, mandolin, strings, melodica, accordion, xylophone, harmonica, anything really. But if you just play drums, that is completely fine.
