10-19-11 – Nashville, TN>Louisville, KY – Hi, I’m a guitarist/singer/writer wanting to put together an alternative rock band, kinda as a 90s throwback sound but with modern influences. I’m just lacking a drummer. I like mixing live and electronic drums, samples, and synths and have some gear to make that happen. I have recorded a solo album and played out mixing beats with live instruments, but I really want to flesh this stuff out into a full-on band sound and get other members that could take part in writing and collaborating on new material. 06-18-11 – Chicago, IL>Milwaukee, WI – Hey,
We’re looking for a female singer (maybe 2) for a new project. Heavy down tuned, loud guitars with programmed drums, samples and loops. Think Sleigh Bells, Floor, Torche, Black Sabbath, Melt Banana, Ministry…….. Everyone involved with this project has played in bands before, recorded and toured, so we know what we’re doing. We’re all from a DIY punk background and we still work that way. That means you can expect to play basement shows, travel in a rusted up van and help with recordings, printing shirts, etc. We would like someone who can sing but if your a straight up screamer that’s cool too. 21+ please.
