03-16-12 – Boston, MA>Hartford, CT – We are company that powers easy to update school websites nationwide and are looking for a photographer to shoot pictures of schools and submit them to us in digital form.
Ideally, we are looking for a wedding photographer (someone who has talent and experience and who is normally free during school hours). The person we are seeking is reliable, has access to the internet and will keep in touch for scheduling purposes, has a car and can travel to schools throughout the area for photo shoots. You only need a basic DSLR camera, no lights or flashes required typically. Put if you bring a bag with your supplies, that wouldn’t hurt. You must have your own camera and be able to send the high resolution images back through our system. High Speed internet is required.
When a school signs up with us we offer them an on-site photo shoot which is two hours long. The kinds of shots we are looking for are images that would set the tone for what our graphic designer might do for their website. Things like murals, logos, mascots, gardens, architecture, etc. are mostly what we are looking for, although it’s not uncommon for the school official to take photographers to classrooms, libraries, science classes, etc… The shoots always take place during school hours and always require someone from the staff to escort the photographer around as the shoot is conducted.
