We practice after 8 on Sunday nights at a church (it’s after everybody clears out, so we have the place to ourselves, but I wanted to warn you in case churches are an issue for you). We’re not a “Christian band” (whatever that means); we’re just looking for somebody who’s reliable, barely to moderately talented, and who digs folk/old-time/bluegrass/etc, ala Nickel Creek, Vigilantes of Love, Woody Guthrie, Gillian Welch.

I don’t want to be a cover band or a tribute band, but I want to do what The Rolling Stones and Beatles did, and just start off playing all different songs of different genres and getting the feel for playing and have fun doing it.
