03-07-12 – Los Angeles, CA>San Diego, CA – My guitarist and I (bass) are starting a hard rock band a bit on the progressive side and are currently looking for a talented vocalist who can not only scream well, but most importantly, sing well! A perfect example of someone with these traits would be Maynard from Tool, not to say we are looking for someone exactly like him but along those traits vocally. Some of our main influences are System of a Down, Tool, and Mastodon to name a few. If you like that type of music then you will probably like our music because its along those styles.
We only want someone who is very dedicated, someone who is NOT currently in a band, and someone that wants to take the music as far as we possibly can. 03-06-12 – Los Angeles, CA>San Diego, CA – My bassist and I (guitar) are starting a hard rock band a bit on the progressive side and are currently looking for a talented drummer. We are looking for someone with a great understanding of rhythm, as our music incorporates some odd timings. Also, a diverse drum set (something more than a standard 5 piece) with double bass is preferred, since our music is progressive. Some drummers that are along the lines of what we are looking for are: John of System of a Down, Danny of Tool, and Brann of Mastodon to name a few. If you like that type of music, then you will like what we have to offer because it’s along those styles. A little about us.
We are an 8 piece Rock/Roots/Christian/metal band. We have been playing shows pretty regularly(about once every three weeks). We practice twice a week in Eagle Rock. Our set is about half originals and half covers. We pray on the mic at shows. We have all been playing together for a little over a year. We would love to eventually record an EP or full length and then Tour the beautiful pacific coast and surrounding areas.
