08-18-11 – Dallas, TX>Austin, TX – Acoustic Guitar Player Needed.
Special deal for acoustic artists (guitar and vocals) and rappers $25 per song. Why so cheap? I’m recently unemployed and trying to make some quick cash to go out to California mid September. All you need to bring is your guitar and your voice for the acoustic deal, and rappers just bring your beats and your talent. This is a pretty good deal in my oppinion, how often do you come across an opportunity to record an album for under $300, if you did ten songs, it’s only $250. Wait scratch that, if you come in and do eight songs $200 the last two are on me. My email is up there, if you want a sample just reply with which kind of sample you want rap or acoustic. Let’s do this quick while I have the time. If I find a job before I find clients then the deal is over.

06-28-11 – Milwaukee, WI>Chicago, IL – Working on original heavy music project. Not really what you would call Metal though. More like dirty rock n roll influenced by Melvins, Sabbath, and the Butthole Surfers. Stuff like that. Got around eight songs in the works with a few covers in the wings to pad the list. Not looking to be a cover band and not looking to get signed and be on the road next year. I’ve got commitments, and I’m not a young pup any more. Looking to have a good time playing some tasty music and see where it goes from there – playing out being the obvious goal at the moment. Right now we’re a bass and a guitar with vocals. Need drummer to fill out the mix, and may add a guitar at some point. It’d be great if the drummer had a space to play in because neither of us has space for a band.

01-08-11 – Nashville, TN>Louisville, KY – METAL BASSIST WANTED for established Nashville-based metal band, Oblivion Myth
What we have to offer: a place in a great family of metal musicians, opportunities to write and record, and the chance to perform all around Tennessee and beyond. Our first album, “Between Light and Shadow,” contains eight songs and was released in July 2008. After 36 shows, we are currently recording our second album “Into The Valley of Unrest.” We will have eleven songs on our second album and have several songs already being prepared for our third album.
What we are looking for: we need someone who will be a part of our family and be an actual “bassist”. By our definition, this is a bass player that sounds like a bass player and knows how to play with a drummer, not some dude playing rhythm guitar on bass (unless your name is Lemmy, then we’ll talk!). As for the progressive side of your playing, if you were asked to do a bass solo, would the audience go get a beer, take a piss, or would they be enamored by your ability? If you can drop people’s jaws, we want to meet you! Of course, you will need to be reliable, committed, practice on your own, own your own professional equipment, and join the band for a 5+ hour rehearsal EVERY SATURDAY.
