01-27-12 – Portland, OR>Seattle, WA – Operation Deadhand: A post-rock/post-metal instrumental recording project is looking for a bass player for internet collaboration.

Currently we are one guitarist/bassist/electronic-musician/songwriter (me) & one amazing drummer based in Seattle.

It would be cool to find another like-minded musician who has their own home studio (we both do) that would be into recording & writing their own parts for songs & contributing creatively to the process.

Some influences are: Nels Cline, Crimson, Mastodon, Tool, Russian Circles, Zombi, Dub Trio, Battles, Squarepusher, David Torn, Jojo Mayer.

This is a high ability, low pressure project that is mainly an outlet for me & a side project for the drummer.
