03-14-12 – Philadelphia, PA>New York City, NY – Lehigh Valley Classic rock Party band looking to replace our Current Bassist after our March 17th gig.
The Band is a 5 piece and currently practices on a Sunday times sometimes vary. We do a few annual summer parties along with Bar & Club sometimes going out of the area.
Beyond playing clubs and parties for the last 8 years, we have ‘opened’ for nationally acclaimed acts such as Artimus Pyle (drummer for Lynyrd Skynyrd) and Richmond’s own metal band Gwar (which is best known for its elaborate Sci-Fi horror film inspired costumes) and our next gig will be opening for Recording Artists Atom Smash. We play all the great covers from past to present.

Singer/Songwriter looking to audition a drummer for original music. Maybe some covers, but the main goal is to write some EPIC radio friendly material. Alternative Rock style that has some Foo Fighters, Weezer, Pearl Jam, Days of the New, MB20, The Strokes, and similar influences. It wont sound exactly like those bands but you get the idea.

I’ve been performing for over 10 years all over the states and moved to Atlanta a couple months ago. Now that I’m settled in the area I’m forming a band that will rock the scene. I’ve got really good stage presence, sound awesome LIVE and have studied music for years, so we can write material in a short amount of time.

I’m only looking for a drummer that is ITP, and not outside the Atlanta area. Must have their own equipment, transportation, TOP QUALITY CHOPS and cool to hang with. Practice 1-2 times a week. Just let me know if you have a practice space or if we need to rent one. I’m cool with either. I have some recording equipment as well. Please no responses from outside Atlanta.

Our influences are varied, as is our chosen material and we’re seeing a lead guitarist who can add that something special, while bringing a strong presence (both instrumentally and vocally). The kind of guitarist that will be the best “fit” for this group will have a deep bag of tricks and can adapt to a wide range of genres, styles and music types.

Our instrumentation lineup is: Guitar/vocals, Multi-Keyboard/vocals. Bass/Vocals & Drums/Vocals and we come from different backgrounds (jazz, funk, R&B and R&R) to put a unique spin on whatever we play.

We pull our material from the last 4 decades and will do renditions of “b sides”, lesser played classic rock tunes, modern blues, fusion/funk jazz, alternative rock and soulful funky stuff. If you want to play Zep covers, Freebird, Sweet Home Alabama or Margaritaville all night, this won’t be your project. If you aren’t comfortable playing extended or altered chords, complex changes or non-pentatonic or non-blues scale based solos, this could be a tough gig for you.
