01-31-11 – Miami, FL>Orlando, FL – Casting for Short film
The story is about a guy in his mid-thirties, who after buying a tin box at a thrift store, begins to see a strange shadow moving about his apartment. The shadow is about the size of a 7-year-old boy, and through his unwanted interactions with it, he learns something very troubling about himself: It appears that during a near-death experience when he was 7-years old, a portion of his soul died, and it’s trying to reunite with him after almost 30 years…
The tone is suspenseful and dramatic, and at the beginning we are going for a horror film mood, although halfway through the film the audience will realize that it’s not a scary film, as much as a dramatic tale of a lonely guy going through extraordinary circumstances.

Los Angeles, CA – The producers of parenting phenomenon THE WORLD’S STRICTEST PARENTS on CMT are now searching for families to host a rebellious teenager for a few days.
CMT documents the journey of two unruly teens from different families as they are forced to adapt to the rules and regulations of very strict host parents. Living under different standards from their families back home, the misbehaving teens are subject to punishment for breaking rules and skipping chores while the strict parents help them mend their ways.
The casting team is looking in Southern California for parents from every type of background and culture to take part in a social experiment exploring the world of the 21st century teenager matched against contemporary, tried-and-true parenting styles. Producers are seeking parents with unique interests; parents with strong family values; conservatives; farmers; parents with devout religious beliefs; academics; eco-friendly parents; and parents who have ordinary or extraordinary circumstances.
Moms and dads, if you are proud of your firm family structure, have well behaved kids, and want to show off your unflinching strict parenting skills, the casting team would like to hear from you. This is an opportunity to show other families how to raise their children the right way.
Interested parents may apply from anywhere via www.theworldsstrictestparents.com. They can also call 888-41-TEENS (1-888-418-3367) or email teens@shedmediaus.com for more information.
