02-01-12 – Boston, MA>Hartford, CT – We are a mature good sounding , with great vocals band, and we gig 1 to 3 times per month.

We also gig from NH to Cape Cod. The music is Rock, Funk, Bluesy and this is a fun to be in band, everyone is sane and we Do Not play to get rich or even to pay any bills with the money, we do get paid , but we are not making a killing in the Music Biz!! We want to be a great band that plays in great places and sometimes we have to travel an hour or so to do that.

We are looking for a drummer that is a great drummer with a great pocket, one that will listen to whats going on in the group, one that maybe can sing back-up or lead on a few songs. Not sure how to say this next thing, but a drummer that is not always concerned about how much we make or what we get for free , but wants to be in a band that is really good and with his or her experience and finesse can help us get to the next level locally.

02-01-12 – Dallas, TX>Austin, TX – Synopsis: We are 6 students at The Art Institute of Dallas working on our Senior Project Film. We will be spending the next 9 months (from January to September) together working on our short film about Kent Shannon, a seasoned marine, who is returning home after his last tour in Iraq. He has been officially diagnosed with severe PTSD and now must learn to adjust to life at home with his wife Rachel and their son David. It is obvious that his PTSD is far worse than expected; his flashbacks and hallucinations seem to sink him further into darkness and depression. After lashing out at his son during a hallucination, Kent seeks the help and advice from his father Jasper, a Vietnam Vet, who also struggled with life at home. Jasper is now at peace with his past and has learned to cope through his faith in God. Jasper shares his beliefs with Kent and explains how he must follow God in order to save himself and his relationship with his family.

Queens is a half-hour musical dramedy about a family of drag queens in New York City’s Queens borough. The central setting is a fictitious drag bar in Woodside called “Damas y Caballeros” (“Ladies and Gentlemen”), or DyCs (pronounced “Dick’s”) for short. Each week, viewers not only see the queens’ backstage banter and campy performances but also dramatically compelling personal stories that ground this larger-than-life ensemble. This thesis production will serve as the pilot.
Requirements:
The dates are not yet locked down, so as of now you must be available between Friday, January 27 through Sunday, February 26. There will be day and night shoots. Work is non-union.
