03-09-12 – Atlanta, GA>Birmingham, AL – Experienced, older “Ringo-styled” drummer, favorite group is the Beatles, looking for like-minded local musicians to form band focusing mainly (but not limited to) Beatles songs. Other music would include general classic rock (Stones, Byrds, Ventures, ARS, etc) and add in some blues to round out a nice mix. Not looking to form a Beatles-only tribute band, but I want to form a talented group of musicians, male and/or female, who would be dedicated to, and stick with, such a project, no playing games, I’ve been down this road several times. I do already have connections for possible gigs. Needed are lead / rhythm guitars, keyboards, bass, and of course, good vocals. Personally, I cant sing a lick but I’m pretty good on drums. I’m located in Bartow county but willing to hook up with anyone within reasonable driving distance. Main thing I want to emphasize…call ONLY if you are serious, love playing music, easy to get along with, no big ego, and available to commit to a project like this.
