03-13-12 – Boston, MA>Hartford, CT – I represent the crew of an Emerson College BFA thesis short film, who are looking for people to be involved in the Art Department – working in the areas of Props, Wardrobe/Costume, Set-dressing, Hair & Makeup.
Here is a little bit about the film:
This film chronicles the life events of super hero Mr. Marvelous. Like any vigilante, Mr. Marvelous is challenged to uphold the expectations of society. However, no hero earns his title without paying a price. This film challenges these conceptions of a super hero, exploring not only the extraordinary aspects of these crime fighters but all of the relatable qualities that make them human.
All roles are unpaid but we will provide meals and transportation (if needed), as well as high quality copy of the finished film.
The production is filming during the first and second weeks of June. If you are not available during this time, we also need to fill roles for pre-production. People taking on roles in pre-production would not need to attend during the June production weeks.
In the Art Department, we are looking for capable people to fill roles in the Props, Wardrobe/Costume, Set Dressing Departments, as well as Hair and Makeup. All of these departments include some people that are working during the production — and some that are working only in pre-production.

01-17-12 – Los Angeles, CA>San Diego, CA – The production is part of San Diego State University’s Jury Project, produced each Spring as part of a school wide program which the student work is judged by professionals in the theatre and film industry. The key positions are nominated by the film faculty, and is fully supported by the department. Production takes place late February and early March, with the finished film presented the 3rd week of April. Recent projects have included, Kiss of the Spider Woman, The Death of Bessie Smith, and Fuente Ovejuna.
