03-27-12 – Boston, MA>Hartford, CT – Whiskey Kill is an original rockabilly/twang band that is looking for a steel, piano and/or fiddle player. We rehearse two to three times a month around Somerville, MA on Sunday and play out three to four times a month. We pretty much only play on the weekends, usually on Saturday and Sunday. The band is already booked up completely through October at bars, car shows, and rockabilly festivals throughout MA, CT, NH, and Maine. However, WHISKEY KILL IS NOT A BUSINESS BAND. We basically play for gas money and beer. What you get is a well-managed, popular band that plays outstanding gigs to a dedicated crowd of young fans, and you play with talented professional fellow bandmates. Management really tries to only book good gigs where the venue treats musicians right and there is a good crowd. We never pay to play!! That said,we have a pretty full schedule, so it’s probably best if you don’t have a million other projects. If you think you would be a good fit on steel, piano and/or fiddle, possess a strong love for Americana/Rockabilly music, and playing great gigs, please contact us. Back up vocals would be a huge plus.
03-10-12 – Nashville, TN>Louisville, KY – Hello all, We are a guitarist/lead vocal and Bass player/backingvocal. We aren’t pro’s or hired guns….we have day jobs. We are looking for a like minded drummer that will make a good fit with our musical style and personalities as well. We play rock/alt with original songs and more being written and developed all the time. We are open to any and all ideas and would like a drummer to be involved with all facets of the band…your input is just as important as anyone else. This is all about the love of music and the willingness to work hard to create good music. Age is not an issue as long as everyone works well together and focused on the same goals. If your interested let us know…you can come talk/jam with us to see if there is good chemistry. We are both very easy going guys with great sense of humor and great love for playing music. Like I said we do have day jobs but we are serious about our music. Would like to practice at least twice a week with plans to begin playing shows soon. — Submit Yourself To This Role Now: 1
03-07-12 – Dallas, TX>Austin, TX – We are an all original band looking for a serious and dedicated guitarist that can play lead and rhythm. We are not a screamo band, we sing as well. Our influences are, Five Finger Death Punch, KillSwitch, System of the Down, Lamb of God, Avenged Sevenfold, Slipknot, Faith No More, Pantera, so on
We want people who will put out some effort and show they want music as much as we do. Someone that will reach out and not flake out. We are looking for the perfect fit and we will not settle. The 2nd guitarist needs to compliment and help shape us in the direction we are going. We have a dedicated drummer, guitarist, bass, and vocals. Chemistry, attitude, mindset, skill, and looks all play a role in our decision. We are also marketable.
03-07-12 – Seattle, WA>Portland, OR – Howdy, we are a country/rock cover band based near Everett.
We are seeking a player that is a great fit personality wise as well as musically. We prefer that you already be familiar with the latest country music from the past 10 years all the way up to what is currently playing on the charts……Brooks and Dunn, Brad Paisley, Montgomery Gentry, Darius Rucker, and so on….. We also do some older country as well. We have shows booked….. so rest assured, if you want to gig….you are certainly gonna gig
Once again, we are established, and NOT a start-up project. Please know your chops…and your gear!! Harmony vocals preferred. We all have day jobs that pay the bills, but we are also dedicated professional musicians that take pride in the music we play and the shows we perform. We bring to the table several years of stage and studio experience, along with professional PA and lighting gear.

02-21-12 – Dallas, TX>Austin, TX – I miss being in a band. I think I’ve found a rhthym guitarist and a lead singer, now I’m looking for a bassist and lead guitarist who CAN WRITE MUSIC. Please only reply if you are in the 18-24 age group. I can write lyrics and can communicate ideas and musical concepts well but I don’t know theory well enough to write songs. I’m very passionate about music and want to grow as a musician while getting to meet some new people, play live gigs, and create some sick ass new rock music for the Dallas scene. Please email me if you think you are a good fit! — Submit Yourself To This Role Now: 1
02-19-12 – Los Angeles, CA>San Diego, CA – We need a talented and creative bass player to complete our guitar trio + vocal jazz band! The other three of us have been rehearsing without a bassist for a bit (it sucks) and can play about 25 songs. Some of my favourites on the list are “Honeysuckle Rose”, “Save Your Love for Me” and “He’s a Tramp” (sung by Peggy Lee in ‘Lady and the Tramp’, it’s surprisingly cool). We need someone who is interested in contributing to the creative aspects of the project, and is more than just a hired gun. While we fully intend to get paid, we are not quite at that stage and cannot promise a goldmine straight out of the gate. This would be a good fit for a working bassist who wants some creative input and to maybe push the envelope a bit, or for a very skilled hobbyist who wants to swing like it’s 1952 and get paid to do so.
