02-11-11 – Portland, OR>Seattle, WA – We are looking for a lead guitarist to play some souly/bluesy riffs over my original songs as well as drummer who does percussion, not the typical full set drum kit. The sound I want to create is sort of a mix of folk/soul/blues/americana…picture a group of chicks like Fiona Apple, Adele, Sheryl Crow and Susan Tedeschi all hanging out with guys like the Avett brothers, Eric Clapton, the Wood brothers and Allman brothers .
I think I have an eclectic sound…that ranges….soo….take a listen and get back to me. I’d like to generate a sound similar to Sallie Ford and the Sound outside….though maybe a little more folky and souly to a certain degree.
