Beauty for Ashes Enterprises Casting Call for Play (Warrior Too!)
For all of you that have seen “The Warrior Within” stage play, this is the continuation of the story.
This play is about two young men who discover their parents have captivating life stories of homelessness, drug, emotional and physical abuse.They soon learn that there is a lot more to the story than what they had been told. This production goes from trials to triumph…from heartache to forgiveness and from pain to peace.
Roles needed:
3-Adult Females (Ages: 25-45)
2-Adult Males (Ages: 25-45)
3-Young Males (Ages 10-17)
Things to bring for casting call if you are trying out for a part (acting role). You can bring your own monologue but we will have a cold read for you as well.

08-24-11 – San Francisco, CA>Reno, NV – Cast will be exposed to top film festivals. Challenging roles, Unique storyline.A tribal lady wakes up with horrifying ugly patch on her face; due to a curse she committed breaking the forest rules. It will be interpreted by tribal priest to banish her in order to secure village from starving, as an after effects of keeping her within colony. Later she meets an old woman through which she learns about some migrated hunters from outside jungle, started to overhunt the forest with modern firearms. She confronts the hunters and kills some of them warning remaining to stay out of their jungle. Her ugly patch gets vanished as forgiveness from gods. She goes back to colony hoping to unite with them but gets shocked to see whole village got patch tint now. They still abandon her saying the ones who follow forest rules gets the patch as a blessing from God. Understanding the Flipflop of Good & Bad they made she comes back with an artificial patchy mask to get united with them. The story ends saying even the pure hearted people are living in a mask of sin to get along with society.

No experience is necessary, good role for someone who wants to play thoughtful characters.

he Secret Garden will rehearse according to the following tentative schedule:
• Rehearsals for Mary, Archie, Lily, Colin, Martha, and Dickon begin on February 21, 2011
• Rehearsals for other characters begin on February 28, 2011
• Rehearsals are held Sundays from 2:30pm-5:30pm, and Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays from 7pm-10pm
• Tech Week begins on Saturday, April 30, 2011. Please be available all nights and weekends from then through opening.
Depending on your role, you may not be required to be present at every rehearsal. The schedule will be planned with care to ensure that you are only called when needed for that particular night’s scene work. Please be sure to list all conflicts on audition forms.
