01-16-12 – Boston, MA>Hartford, CT – Looking for a lead singer who can also double as a rhythm guitar and / or keyboard player. Experienced drummer and guitarist / songwriter / vocalist looking to complete the band. Have 5 rough tracks on an EP ready for vox. The roughs are a mixture of Queen (Night At The Opera / Sheer Heart Attack era) and modern riff rock / classic metal (Red Fang, Priestess, etc). Vocals will lean more towards the Queen side, emphasis on the hooks. Ideally, we’re looking for our Freddie Mercury.
Requirements:
-Performance and recording experience
-Knack for songwriting is helpful (ideally this band is a democracy, not a dictatorship)
-Ability to leave the egos at the door, this is a collaborative effort.
-Vocal ability is a HUGE plus, looking to have some three-part harmonies.
-Transportation: Car is a plus, we practice in Boston (Berklee area).
-Age: early / mid 20′s.
