01-05-12 – Nashville, TN>Louisville, KY – I’m doing something totally different. I’ve been writing new songs for the past few months, and I’m trying to break the mold. Basically, I’m looking to create a mixture of genres, mostly including Soul/Funk, Jam Band style, Folk, and Christian music. Influences include: Trey Anastasio, Trent Cory, Jack Pearson, Gungor, Eric Clapton, Bruce Hornsby, The Beatles, Fred Hammond, The Allman Brothers, Pink Floyd, Rush, Edgar Winter, Audio Adrenaline, Chicago, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Hillsong Live, Michael Jackson, Foo Fighters, Santana, Sly & The Family Stone, Israel Houghton, Led Zeppelin, The O.C. Supertones, SCC, Tower of Power, and more if I had the time! In the simplest way I can put it, I’m truly seeking out the musical spirituality of Jam Band style music, and redirecting it to Jesus Christ in a way that opens people’s eyes to new things, yet still brings a sense of simplicity so people can still worship comfortably. “Contemporary Christian Music” needs a change, and I’m working with quite a few people in the business to make that happen. But first, I need to complete this band!

Recently I have been playing in Rock Cover bands and like what I am doing….but would like to branch out a little bit and be a little more creative
I really dig a lot of the electronic indie stuff lately….LCD soundsystem, passion pit, MGMT, Beck,

I would like to find some people to jam with and see if we can come up with some fun synth oriented grooves to build on and maybe make into songs
Looking for bass, guitar, and I’ll be playing drums and can contribute with some keys and a synth trigger pad

$$$ is not the #1 objective with this project….fun and creativity are……somewhere down the road would like to play shows, but don’t want to rush creative process just to get out and make money….
