Guitarist looking for keyboardist/pianist to compliment his wide array of musical styles. I’m currently putting the pieces of a band together with the intentions of recording a CD, and also performing live. (ie: gigs I have a *small* 16 track studio, but have unlimited access to a semi-pro studio with all the bells and whistles.
What kind of keyboardist am I looking for? Actually, I don’t know specifically as I am currently delving into many genres from blues/jazz fusion to a bit of contemporary soul/R&B. But I’d have to say that the Baroque Classical style and a hybrid of Rock/Metal I have a lot of experience in.

03-23-12 – Chicago, IL>Milwaukee, WI – I am an experienced bass player looking to either form or join an existsting project that falls under the psychedelic/progressive/ hard rock/ metal category! I have played bass for over 17 years, have a lot of experience performing and recording and own professional gear. I am fairly new to Chicago and haven’t been able to find the ideal band yet so I figured I’d post what I would like to do. I am capable of playing many diverse styles and am easy to work with. I am really into bands like The Mars Volta, Opeth, Sleepytime Gorilla Museum, Frank Zappa, Bungle, jazz (in general particularly 60′s or 70′s fusion) and basically anything that brings something new musically to the table. I would like to find vocals, guitar(s), drums, and maybe a keyboard player to jam and write amazing tunes with. I know these are a wide range of styles but I think with the right people we can make some cool stuff happen. I don’t expect virtuosos but am not looking for amateurs either. Tied to an idea for a new church/community center that we are working on, (but not what most people think of as church – much more politically liberal and theologically open-minded).
