03-25-12 – Cleveland, OH>Detroit, MI – Gypsy
Gypsy is the ultimate story about an aggressive stage mother. Join Rose, June and Louise in their trip across the United States during the 1920’s, when vaudeville was dying and burlesque was born. Jule Styne’s music and Stephen Sondheim’s lyrics include Let Me Entertain You, Some People, Everything’s Coming Up Roses, You Gotta Get a Gimmick and Together Wherever We Go. This is a gripping story of one of the most frightening aspects of show business. — Submit Yourself To This Role Now: Live Event

05-18-11 – Atlanta, GA>Columbia, SC – I’m looking to start a band. I’m a 22 year old female singer/ songwriter, and I want to do something fairly unique to be able to somewhat stand out in the music industry. I want to be hard enough that both guys and girls will want to listen to my music. I do not scream. I am a singer, but I would like for there to be screaming involved in the music. I’m looking for a drummer. I am extremely serious about making music and want to turn it into a full time career, so I am looking for people who will be just as dedicated as I am.
I’m really into horror, so I’d like for the band to be somewhat dark in theme. I love mixing genres, and I love creative concepts, and I think it’s very important for a band to have some sort of an iconic look or gimmick. Influences include a wide variety of music. I like everything, but particularly Marilyn Manson, Evanescence, Motley Crue, Paramore, Flyleaf, Eminem, Bullet for My Valentine, etc. That’s about all I can think of at the moment. If interested or for more information please contact me. — Submit Yourself To This Role Now: 1

03-21-11 – Nashville, TN>Louisville, KY – We need a couple great guitarists and a great bass player who are willing & able to practice at least every other week. Must be able to carry a tune in a bucket (backups or lead) and have your own mic. We want a strong vocal sound, so ability to harmonize is a must, and if you like sharing the front spot, too, we’re all for it. If you can play some keys, it’s a definite plus, but not necessary. The musicians you would be replacing live too far away and couldn’t make rehearsals (in case you’re wondering).
We don’t care how young or old you are as long as you’re not too young or old to ROCK and not stuck in one genre — you’ve got to want & be able to play everything from Heart and Led Zep to Journey and Kansas to Pink and Halestorm to Staind and Alterbridge. We want you to be yourself, but you don’t have to be a gymnast onstage, have model looks, or be able to dance with the stars; let our sound and talent carry us, not some gimmick. Must be reliable, professional (at least when it comes to gigs), and able to stay sober and straight onstage. What you do in your own time is not our concern or business — as long as it doesn’t affect the band.
“We” are a female vocalist/keyboardist (Kate) and a drummer (Jim). We’re experienced and award-winning, and ready to find and work with the right people. We believe a cover band should mimic the original artists, not half-ass learn something just enough to get by. We’re looking for like-minded, focused, talented musicians with a good sense of humor and easy-going nature who want to play and are willing to sacrifice a little of their free time to do it “right.” We take the music seriously, but we have a down-to-earth attitude with everything else. No divas or superegos wanted, please.
We’re located in Murfreesboro and have practice space, but if you have a good rehearsal spot, we’re willing to travel or rotate practice locations. Whatever works for the group will work for us.
We’re already booked for two benefit gigs in April and have gigs waiting in the wings for whenever we’re ready. If you’re a quick learner and ready to start working immediately on perfecting a sound, PLEASE CALL US to set up a time and place to get together. If you’re/we’re not ready to rock next month, we’ll cancel the benefits and work on getting ready for the paying gigs.
