Nick is a single, Italian-American guy from New Jersey. His parents have retired and moved to Florida – but he still sees both sets of his grandparents every Sunday for dinner. Family is the center, the heart of life for Nick’s grandparents. All is well until Nick has to tell his grandparents he’s been offered a dream job in Seattle.
Devastated by the news, his doting grandparents cook up a plot to keep him from leaving the nest. Like Nick, we are left to wonder what we owe the people who love us, and to what degree we should arrange our lives to be close to our families.
