02-05-12 – Dallas, TX>Austin, TX – Experienced Vocalist/Guitarist.
Working on putting together a Jump/Swing Blues ensemble.

Currently have Drums, Bass, Piano, Guitar and Alto/Tenor Sax.

Also seeking a solid and passionate Baritone Saxophone Musician for this project.

Idea Player Is: Arnett Cobb, Jay McNeely, Doug James, Sax Gordon, Greg Picolo type who can fit into the mix as well as wail when the time comes!!

The material will be a hybrid of Upbeat Blues-Swing-Boogie Woogie, Rock-A-Billy and Vintage 50′s (Ex: Bill Haley And The Comets) along with some Standards.

Mostly covers and heavy Brass and Guitar instrumentation and high energy Music.
The intent is to build a dynamic Band that knows how to entertain, truly enjoys making Music, dresses sharp and plays HOT!!

Rehearsals will be casual dress however ALL live performances will REQUIRE suits, ties, or other nice skins.

Not interested in playing dives the venue direction is upscale and private as well as corporate events.

02-03-12 – Chicago, IL>Detroit, MI – Plot Summary:
Under the direction of small town community leader Marla Larson, five local stage actors are drafting an adaptation of Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol.

Being a local advocate for elderly persons, Marla’s goal has for a long time been to create a play that focuses on the social problem of the financial exploitation of the elderly. In particular, she has for some time been obsessed with the idea of turning the Dickens story on its head to do so.

All is not, though, as it might at first appear. While the actors are working together to create their adaptation, Marla is cleverly guiding their efforts to other, secret ends.

Within their small town, a conspiracy is brewing to unseat Marla’s husband Judge Tom Larson from his seat on the bench and replace him with a local attorney. Under Marla’s careful direction, the group’s adaptation is being crafted into a not-too-thinly veiled exposure of these and other nefarious goings-on. In making the plotters aware they have been and are being watched, Marla’s goal is to make them cease and desist from their conspiracy against her family.

All the while, there are unknown forces working towards other ends Marla cannot understand.

The film is about ten minutes long, and is about a writer who listens to conversations in a coffee shops looking for an idea to spark his writing. He happens to overhear the wrong conversation, and gets himself in a jam. The project is on real film! and you would receive a copy of your work for future jobs. There is a lead role, several main characters, and a few extras with lines.
