02-17-11 – Los Angeles, CA>San Diego, CA – Are you currently a private music instructor/teacher in Orange County? If you are a skilled musician, would you like to learn how to teach what you know for extra income? We are looking for musicians who play any instrument: piano, guitar, bass guitar, drums, voice, violin, trumpet, sax, mandolin, percussion, flute, clarinet, etc…
As a member of there are many FREE benefits such as training, advertising/marketing services, student placement services, administrative/billing/follow-up services, and performance opportunities … all free for our members! .
As an independent contractor, you determine your schedule of availability. You will also determine whether you would like to provide lessons at your “studio” (a room out of your home or a clean space in the garage perhaps?) or at the student’s home…or both. You even determine which instruments and courses of study you will be teaching, as well as what level of skill (examples “guitar – beginner” or “music theory – all levels”).
Our pay is competitive and is determined by what level of education you have achieved, life experience, personal and professional music background, etc.
For consideration, you should:
•Be committed to your students’ progress and musical success
•Ensure 100% satisfaction by demonstrating character and integrity
•Demonstrate a high level of proficiency on a musical instrument
•Possess great communication and interpersonal skills
•Submit to and pass a background and reference check; must not have any convictions for a crime other than minor traffic violations
•Be at least 18 years old
