I’m interested in playing all kinds of music, but mainly rock/jamband and classics – covers and originals. My goal is to gig frequently in the bar and venue scene around here and in Boston (at least sometimes). I’d like to find some proficient players with some amount of music literacy, because I want to play cool music that might require, you know, effort. Players with stage experience, strong instrumental ability, and general coolness preferred. Everyone has to sing. Apologies. I’m not that great at it, you don’t have to be good either, but again, effort. Full, accurate harmonies make a band standout, and it’s a good thing to practice anyway.
I’ve got plenty of experience playing and gigging, and have decent gear (though no PA). I am willing to split practice space rent when I find compatible musicians. Practice/gig a couple times a week.
Since I’d like music not to be a black hole for my income, I’m up for all kinds of gigs: bar all-nighters, slot gigs, hosting open stages, duo/trio lineup things, events… at least enough to cover practice space rent and gas.
