03-07-12 – Portland, OR>Seattle, WA – Deadbeat Dixie a newly formed Rock Country band with an established drummer, bassist, rhythm guitar, and singer is
looking for a reliable lead guitarist. We are all in our thirties and used to playing shows once or twice every month. Our
ultimate goal is to have a show every week or two and hitting the Fair circuit in the summer months. We would like to find
someone familiar with playing Country music…..
We are more Rock Country in the styles of Jason Aldean, Brantley Gilbert, and Eric Church but we do stay true to our
Country roots with a few songs by Alabama, Waylon, and Hank JR. We also cover Foo Fighters, Tonic, and Default.
We want to start gigging in the later parts of April or early May.

02-19-12 – Phoenix, AZ>El Paso, TX – Forming modern country band to gig in Tucson and surrounding areas. Have male lead vocalist and awesome lead guitarist. Looking for talented drummer, bass, and rhythm players who love country music. We are both in our mid 40s.

Similar age would be ideal, but age isn’t necessarily a factor, good chemistry goes a long way. Have good practice space in Corona de Tucson. Looking to play mostly newer Top 40 Country with some 80′s and 90′s country mixed in, maybe some originals.

We have a 60+ song setlist put together but are definitely open to other member inputs. Current setlist consists of artists such as Chris Young, Luke Bryan, George Strait, Jake Owen, Jason Aldean, Blake Shelton, Billy Currington, Tracy Lawrence, Keith Whitley, Garth Brooks, among others. Evening practices 1-2 times a week for a couple hours.

Hope to be gigging as soon as we are tight. We both have good steady day jobs so this is mainly for fun but we are definitely dedicated. If $$ is your first priority that’s cool, but this probably isn’t the band for you. Moderate alcohol friendly and very laid back fellas. Absolutely no drama here and intend to keep it that way.

01-30-12 – Portland, OR>Seattle, WA – We’re a local country band that’s been gigging actively, four-set nights, for the last couple of years. The most recent setlist includes more traditional country (Merle, JC, Dwight Yoakam, George Strait), new country (Zac Brown, Jason Aldean, Billy Currington, Blake Shelton, etc.) and classic rock with a southern flavor (ZZ, Skynyrd, CCR, Mellencamp, etc.), but has morphed over time depending on personnel and venue.

While we all sing, our guy who handled most of the leads and front work just couldn’t hack living in Salem and rehearsing and gigging down here, so we’re looking to fill the gap. Solid lead vocals, male or female, are the priority, with any instrumental contribution a big plus. Guitar, fine; keys, better; multi-instrument virtuosity including fiddle, mandolin and dobro would be our wildest dream come true.
