Guitarist looking for keyboardist/pianist to compliment his wide array of musical styles. I’m currently putting the pieces of a band together with the intentions of recording a CD, and also performing live. (ie: gigs 
I have a *small* 16 track studio, but have unlimited access to a semi-pro studio with all the bells and whistles.
What kind of keyboardist am I looking for? Actually, I don’t know specifically as I am currently delving into many genres from blues/jazz fusion to a bit of contemporary soul/R&B. But I’d have to say that the Baroque Classical style and a hybrid of Rock/Metal I have a lot of experience in.

Must read music and basic chord charts. Have ability to rehearse a major band with
multiple pieces, so must have good know your theory and have good organization.
Soulful player (Otis Redding, Jerry Wexler type styles with a rock edge), creative,
solid training background. Gospel, jazz/fusion (Herbie Hancock–the color or chords)
is a plus. Original music. We’re Not a covers band. Please be a creative person, songwriter,
arranger and know orchestration. Session and tour is also in the mix. Ideally, someone to

You need to feel comfortable improvising and making up cool riffs and not knowing where the “song” is going or where it will potentially end up. gig will be at a school near Hillsboro in the evening for a fund raiser event. (not a dance). the lineup is one guitarist , one drummer, and one bassist. everyone is a professional musician– creativity is a must.
