05-08-11 – Dallas, TX>Austin, TX – Female fronted A room dance band with gigs on the books looking for players that can become part of a band. Commitment to the gigs is a must. Band plays with tracks and already uses some of the best players in town but we need to have a steady lineup. Looking for subs all the time is not working out. We are looking for a drummer. Charts and and tracks are done and the band has been working steadily for 2 years but the schedule is getting busy and the players in the band have not been able to make the weekend dates. Only experienced R&B, funk , dance players please. Beyonce, Janet, Chaka, jennifer Hudson etc. Reading is preferred but not manditory. Solid groove, commitment to the band are a must. 04-25-11 – Portland, OR>Seattle, WA – We’re looking for a “lead guitarist” for our band, at the moment, we mainly do cover’s, but do have some original’s in progress. I sing, and play drums, and I have a daughter (18), and she sing’s and play’s drums as well. She’s been singing since she was 5 year’s old, with extensive vocal training and show and contest experience’s, we both have great stage presence as well. We have quite a variety of music, everything from Santana, Kate Perry, Alicia Keys, Norah Jones, Cee lo green, Jennifer Hudson, to a bit of blue’s, and country, and rock and roll, old and new. And when people are going to see our band, it’s going to be like a “concert”, we have a nice mix of slow and fast song’s, I would say 50/50. But what make’s us a little unique, is that I also DJ, so in between set’s, or after “the band” has played, I would be dj’ing to provide the “fast dancing” music. You could say, “the client”, would get the best of both world’s!! Another thing to keep in mind, is that we’re all quite RESPONSIBLE, everything in moderation is okay, but we’re quite past our “party” day’s, I’m sure you understand what I mean. We would mainly be specializing in wedding’s, and festival’s, NO bar/pub playing, something to consider….
