I have great equipment and a practice space with a PA and drum set. Some of my influences musically or lyrically include John Mark McMillan, Jars of Clay, Josh Garrels, Matt Nathanson, Jon Foreman, Bleach (their later stuff), Wade Bowen, and Charlie Hall. I’m a Christian and my faith is a huge part of who I am. I’m open to writing about life and love but a large part of what I want to focus on in writing is my faith. I’m looking for someone who shares that passion. I’m hoping to find someone around my age. Previous band or performing experience is a plus. I’d love to find someone who writes lyrics, melodies, or both. I’d also like to find someone who has a unique voice. I like raspy voices and I’d like to play with someone who has a good range. I have great connections and have plenty of talented musician friends to play with in a full band setting. I’m open to becoming a band with multiple members but first want to focus on finding a singer that I click with. I’m not going into this just to “make it big” or “get signed”. I love the creative process or writing, recording, and performing. My focus is to be creative, write, seek out opportunities to play, and see where it goes. If things go well enough to pursue it professionally then that’d be great but that’s not my reason for putting this together. I’ve been writing and playing music for over 10 years and already have a bassist and drummer and a vision for this music that I’ve been writing as well as a demo I did myself over a year ago before those two joined. Right now they are learning the songs I’ve already written and we are also writing new ones together. I’ve also got a cellist in the works. She is also learning some of the songs as well.
Ghost of Cali, a new local Orange County band looking for more members. Looking to really expand the sound.
I am a chill guy and we are a chill band looking to find the other pieces to the music. I’m looking for humble musicians with experience. I’m 24 and the oldest member is in his early 30s, so I’m looking for musicians 20+ years and older to join. There are some very influential bands out there that I respect and would love to be like; for example, Switchfoot is probably the most humble group of guys/ musicians I’ve ever had a chance to meet. My music is very versatile with many musical influences and sounds. I am influenced by catchy melodic sounds, main stream music done well, creative lyrics meaningful to fun, powerful sounding music, and music that comes with a vision. All I want to do is tour around the world playing music and that’s it. Not interested in mansions, fancy cars, fame, or millions of dollars. The different genres I’ve been told I am so far are Indie Rock, Alternative, Folk-Rock, Blues, Modern-Rock, Pop-Rock, R&B and the different bands/artists I’ve been compared to as far as sound, vocals, and more are Switchfoot, Lifehouse, Staind (vocals), Ryan Carrera, John Mayer, Jon Foreman, Circa Survive (vocals), Ben Folds, and more. I take music very seriously as it is the career I want for my life. It’s a passion of mine and if it’s a passion of yours and your interested then I’m interested.
I am looking for a lead guitarist who plays similar to a mix of Indie Rock and Worship put together. Not looking for someone who has been just shredding all their lives but instead someone that can bring catchy melodic riffs with effects to the table. I’m only interested in people who are career oriented and who want to do this for a living. I’m extremely serious about this band so please be serious too.
