10-17-11 – Nashville, TN>Louisville, KY – We’ve been a band for about 3 years and have one full length cd and are about to come out with a 5 songs EP. You can listen to some of our old music at www.reverbnation.com/electricteeth, or email us for some of our newer stuff. Keep in mind that the material on the reverb nation site is old and our sound has changed quite a bit.
We need someone(preferably between the ages of 20-30, we are all 21-23) who has the ability to play different instruments AND do strong background vocals. The main instrument you would be playing is synth/keyboard, although depending on what the song needs, you could be doing something else.

Our sound varies but is comparable to Radiohead, Interpol, The National, The Horrors, Grizzly Bear, Joy Division, The Strokes, Deerhunter, Arcade Fire, My Bloody Valentine, etc….
Our new music will have more of a dark sounding electronic, dance feel to it, while still keeping rock elements.

09-17-11 – Detroit, MI>Cleveland, OH – I write songs that draw on decades of influences, sometimes wordy, sometimes quirky, hopefully always unique. I’ve been playing shows around town quite a few years, electric or acoustic, lately a solo, duo, or trio. Mostly originals, but I play some shows that involve covers, too. I’ve recorded and released one full-length cd.

I’ve been through many different lineups of musicians, but haven’t quite found the right mix, or at least a stable lineup. I’m looking to get together a basic duo, consisting of myself on vocals and acoustic guitar, and a versatile lead guitarist (electric or acoustic, or both, singing and songwriting optional). Other instruments might follow, but I want to start with a core unit of two guitars.

My originals tend to be a bit on the unusual side, at least lyrically. Musically I try to keep it diverse, with a blend of folk/roots/rock/experimental, slow/fast medium paced tunes. Influences. . .too many to list names!
