Psychobilly/blues: The Meteors, Flat Duo Jets, Link Wray
Punk: Dead Kennedys, Misfits, Germs, Black Flag, Turbonegro, The Damned
Rock: Stooges, Eagles of Death Metal, Nick Cave, Howlin Wolf
Looking to get this Drug Train rolling. Play local clubs, open for bands that come to town like Reverend Horton Heat, Flametrick Subs; record. Practice about once a week on the weekends.
Just to be clear folks, this is not church friendly, metalcore, country, or a radio cover band. We are a psychobilly punk band kind of specifically looking for musicians/fans of this crude, dirty, minimalist style. It seems you are few and far between in DFW, but hopefully we’ll get lucky and find you. Punks unite.
