09-28-11 – Detroit, MI>Cleveland, OH – Serious replies ONLY! We need a serious, professional, experienced, and talented LEAD guitarist able to solo, when necessary, to any genre of music.
And reply soon, because we are in a hurry to get back to business.
We are a pop/rock band that COVERS a mix of oldies, classic rock, hair metal, alt rock, r&b, motown, and top 40 selections. We need a quick learner, someone who doesn’t mind playing songs they don’t like. We’d prefer some knowledge of music theory, but at the very least you need to be able to solo in both major and minor keys proficiently. You need your own professional equipment for our weekly practice, and for our shows (we play out between 5 and 7 shows a month on average). As always, NO EGOS. There are five of us, and we’re looking for someone with whom we can get along, considering all the time we’ll be forced to spend together.
We’d love to hear from you if you’re interested. When you respond, we’d prefer if you could give us a brief bio for yourself, with age, relevant experience, years played, equipment -and so on- and any recordings you have of your work will go a long ways in attracting our complete attention.
