03-01-12 – Louisville, KY>Nashville, TN – We’re shooting a feature film noir/murder mystery in Nashville called Old Chicago Souls.
Synopsis The year is 1939. The place? The underbelly of Chicago, a breeding ground for criminals and the men who’ll never lock them away. The film jumps around from Prohibition, when organized crime had found its home, to fifteen years later, a time where the gangster had shot his final rounds. The cop out on the beat, the femme fatale, the guy seeking retribution over a murdered friend. This film features classic noir motifs while adding on a pleasant twist of its own.
Compensation: Food and great resume work.
Gas/accommodations will be provided if the filming location moves far enough from Nashville.
CASTING -It’s important to note that the ages are flexible. Since the film jumps from 1939 back to the years throughout Prohibition, we’re trying to get actors to portray younger/older versions of themselves as to not cast two actors for one character.
We’re also using a few child actors to portray the characters depending on how far the flashback goes.
There are plenty of roles to fill: Patrons of the nightclub, police officers, homeless, etc.
Please let us know if you’re allergic to any type of make-up/liquid latex/spirit gum/etc.
Also, please note whether you smoke or not. — Submit Yourself To This Role Now: Feature Film

01-06-12 – Dallas, TX>Oklahoma City, OK – “The Musical Comedy Murders of 1940″ is a hilarious spoof of the entire murder mystery genre and enjoyed a long and critically hailed run both on and Off-Broadway. Poking antic fun at the more ridiculous aspects of “show biz” and the corny thrillers of Hollywood’s heyday, the play is a non-stop barrage of laughter as those assembled (or at least those who aren’t killed off) untangle the mystery of the “Stage Door Slasher.” You’ll have an evening that will keep an audience guessing as well as laughing. — Submit Yourself To This Role Now: Live Event

10-15-11 – Phoenix, AZ>Las Vegas, NV – We posted for two documentaries and got a lot of great submissions, but we still need submissions from actresses age 20 to 60 years-old (or look that age). Especially looking for people that just look like ordinary people. Not necessary to be a “glamor girl.” NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY. One of our films has no violence, nudity or bad language. The other is a murder mystery based on a true story and although it has no nudity or sex scenes, it does has a great deal of violence and some swear words. Please send a headshot or snapshot. Does not need to be a professional photo as long as it looks like you look now. Please do not send links as we do not open them. If you are with one of the talent agencies that include links, just send a snapshot and contact number or email where you can be reached. Scenes will be filmed in Laveen and Central Phoenix. Even is you only have a few hours to work, please submit as we will try to work around your schedule if you are chosen. Thanks and we look forward to your submissions.
