We play a mix of Latin rock, cumbias, working on old school classics, and ready to create some musical fusion. We can really see ourselves giving old English and Spanish songs a new modern Latin twist.
Some of the influences that we have are everything from Mana, Celia Cruz, Selena, Santana, Ozomatli, Juanes, to Earth, Wind, & Fire, Midnight Star, Michael Jackson, Vicente Fernandez, and La Sonora Dynamita. Musical genres that we enjoy & would like to experiment with are: Latin based sounds (cumbia, salsa, bossa nova, samba, tejano, mariachi), Rock, Pop, Soul, Funk, Old School, and Reggae.
We want a band where everyone contributes ideas and feels comfortable to do so. Serious inquiries only, please. We do take our craft seriously but also enjoying having a good time.
We have an online demo of recordings we’ve done with past musicians. The demo is a small collection of songs we’ve worked on, but are not limited to these songs only. We are very open minded and really want your input on songs you’d like to add. A few of the toonz on the demo were recorded with an electronic drum kit which we occasionally use for headphone practice.
We have practice space and also the ability to produce a promotional demo. With a good solid repertoire and promo package, we plan to get some paying gigs. None of us like playing for free but we’ll have to do it occasionally to get exposure. We did a wedding gig recently and made some contacts and are really excited to get a new demo out to promote ourselves!

Singers will be working on a wide range of genres from Salsa to Broadway, Tango to Merengue, Urban to Regional Mexican. Applicants should be unmanaged, unsigned and have own transportation. 05-22-11 – Milwaukee, WI>Chicago, IL – We are looking for a bass player. But seriously, the guys I play with are extremely talented, and we would love to have an equally talented bass player to round out the band. No need to sing, as we already have four-part harmonies, and adding another vocalist would probably just piss off sound guys.

What we do need is someone who can learn fast, knows some theory, and likes all kinds of music. Our originals span nearly all musical genres, as do the covers we play. And I do mean all. We’ll play a punk song one moment, and a country song the next. Then a polka. I’m serious.

Some gigs will be cover-heavy, some will be mostly originals. Cover gigs, though less fun sometimes, definitely pay better. We’re not in it for the money, but getting paid for what we do is always nice.
