Swing guitarist and vocalist (baritone) seeks other musicians with a passion for music, high-spirited jazz tunes that make you want to jitterbug, smoky ballads, and blues, viper tunes. Small-band swing with lots of improvisation. Not lofty and intellectual jazz, but high-times music of the people.
I played around Austin and with a seven-piece swing band in Portland, OR before moving here, and would like to keep that energy going. Tunes by Basie, Ellington, Goodman, Ella, Lady Day, Fats Waller, Louis Jordan, Nat King Cole Trio, etc.
