01-19-12 – Portland, OR>Seattle, WA – KGW, a Belo Corp. subsidiary, has an opening for an individual to work as a Photographer in our News Department. The top local news operation is looking for an outstanding and experienced Photographer to work in one of the country’s best cities, at one of the country’s finest local news operations and join one of the best media companies in the country.
Requires the ability to shoot and edit video for news and feature stories as assigned. Responsibilities include live truck operation; working independently or with reporters. Shifts may vary depending on needs; however, the shift assigned will likely be to support our morning and noon newscasts.
Candidate should have at least three years previous experience shooting video for a news application. Must be able to work under pressure with numerous deadlines. Previous experience with linear and non-linear edit systems is preferred
