I am a musician with 9+ years experience with guitar and piano, seeking a Hip-Hop Duo similar to the group Chiddy Bang, where I create music and lyrics, and a rapper brings it all to life.
My music and lyrics are not the same sequence played over and over again, unlike today’s hip-hop/rap, they are actual songs.
My music and lyrics are strongly influenced by Dr. Dre, 2pac, Darkest Hour, and Sonny Moore, creating a sound unheard of in today’s hip-hop music.
I am looking for a male rapper with a voice similar to that of 2pac’s; deep, and distinctive.
My beats are not ready for production, or sales, but are professional quality, and awaiting completion with the help of a rapper to lay vocals down. However, for the time being, my computer has crashed, and I cannot record vocals.
This would be a partnership that will include practices, and shows; but I also want this to be a friendship. To be honest, I am not usually this high-strung, but after getting so many responses from people who think just because they’ve made a song or two with the same three chords played over and over, with lyrics taken from a third grade vocabulary, I get a little frustrated not being able to find someone who has a brain, and can actually use it.
