I am part of an production team that is currently working on our first album. We specialize in Hip-Hop synthesis sampling, but for our first album we are attempting to re-record all of our samples with live instruments instead of using midi instruments or samples in order to sidestep paying royalties to artists that we borrowed inspiration from. This is where you come in.
We are currently looking for a Pianist who can listen/learn/record the piano parts for four songs. None of the parts are very complex, but being able to play by ear is a plus as we do not have scores written for our music.
I would also like to point out that we are students, so we cannot offer top dollar for your services. If payment is a must, then we are open to discussing various options, but money is tight. 02-16-12 – Nashville, TN>Birmingham, AL – Our band is looking for a singer. Preforably someone who shares some of the same musical influences as us.

We are 21 so please be from 18 to 25 in age.

The demos we’ve made so far have been compared to The Drums, The Cure, and The Beach Boys.

Most of these Demos were made about a year ago, since then we’ve taken a break from songwriting because school has been keeping us
very busy.

Our most recent songs have been compared to Josef K, Orange Juice and the Radio Dept.

We are eager to start up a band and make some great songs. Please have a fondness for Pop melodies and melodic styles.

We are really in love with the trademark Postcard Records Sound, so we what we are going for is something that could fit in with the likes of these… (but we don’t mind landing somewhere else, as long as the songs are good)
