Ideally, you would be someone who can groove of course but can also create textures as well. This outfit is a trio and needs the strong bass badly!

I’m a rhythm guitarist and singer/songwriter looking to start up a band. My guitar style ranges from Jazz, Flamenco, Folk, alternative, experimental. I sing and write decent lyrics. I’m looking for another experimental and dynamic guitarist to play leads and to collaborate with on ideas. Also looking for a percussionist/drummer… preferably one that doesn’t mind playing with brushes, congas, and not just a loud drum kit… Less would be more for this project in the percussion, nevertheless percussion is essential. And of course if there is any upright bass player or electric bass player interested please contact as well. Other then that, if there is any players out there that play such eastern instruments as the oud, that would be something I am also very interested in.
Ideally, would like to work on original material with everyones input involved. Record, and play out. I don’t have a rehearsal space at the moment. That being said, if you feel like jamming to see if there is any chemistry, . Up until now my songs are pretty down home and stripped down. But here is a link to some tunes.
