Cass makes a discovery about her husband, Kip, that makes her question her whole life since they met. She hops a bus to Niagara Falls, pulls out a list of all the things she gave up accomplishing when she married Kip, and begins checking them off! Her quirky list includes: “Go on The Newlywed Game,” “Eat venison,” “Have sex with a bell-hop,” and goes on from there. In the process of finding enlightenment, Cass befriends a darkly funny, suicidal alcoholic, a romantic tour boat captain, and a pair of bickering detectives. Models chosen in this casting will be paid $50 and get their hair done complimentary by one of our Amazing Guest Artists. They will also have access to their images created from the hairshow.

Models MUST be willing to color their hair (not necessarily something wild), some will be getting haircuts, others trims, some will be editorial models. Models should be open to different ideas from the guest artist

Shawna has styled hair and make-up for Patty Griffin in the Lifetime video, Women Rock, with Melissa Ethridge, and styled hair for Patty Griffin’s album cover, Impossible Dream. Additionally, she has styled hair and make-up for Traci Goudie and Heather Seybolt Hunter for the VH1 video Shoot to Kill.
In 2009, Shawna received the North America Hair Stylist Award in Texture, and has been nominated for the prestigious Hair Dresser of the Year Award for 2010.

12-22-11 – New York City, NY>Philadelphia, PA – I’m an illustrator recently hired by the Miami Science Museum to illustrate a series of children’s books, each focusing on a different demographic. I need a pair of models ASAP, for a small photo shoot on Friday (will take about 30 min – 1 hour at a time of your choosing).

The second book is about an African American family (consists of a father, age 25-35; and a son, age 4) who go for a walk and play with some blocks. I will be happy to supply the manuscript on request.

Mainly this gig will entail you (the parent) and your child playing with some blocks while I snap some reference photos. Sounds good, right? I don’t mind coming to your house to do this – or we can meet somewhere. I will provide you with a copy of the book when it is printed.
