We play mostly classic rock but not your standard predictable songs, and we like to improvise as a jazz band might approach standards. Some of the bands we do material by: Beatles, Floyd, Zep, Radiohead, Phish, Boston, Yes, Cream, Hendrix, King Crimson, Rush, Police along with some original material we are working on.

11-10-11 – Seattle, WA>Portland, OR – Two guitarist/vocalists and drummer looking to complete the line up for a rock-oriented jam band to play a mix of covers and originals, 70s-style rock and roll with an alt-rock infusion and willingness to jam, improvise, experiment — think Pearl Jam and Foo Fighters covering Zeppelin and Floyd meet Phish? Sometimes tongue-in-cheek, sometimes serious, sometimes “out there.”
We are late 30s/early 40s but age is not a big concern. Mainly looking for like-minded, at least somewhat experienced players who want to have fun with this style of music, practice about once a week (learning tunes in between), and eventually play out 1-2x a month. Vocals are a definite plus, as are creative contributions – songwriting, cover list suggestions, and of course, gimmicks. We have jobs and responsibilities and relationships, so not looking to hit the road and tour anytime soon. Would be nice to get some paying gigs though.
