03-13-12 – Portland, OR>Seattle, WA – Highschool students in the eugene area looking for a committed vocalist.
We are looking for a slightly heavy sound in the mood of A Perfect Circle, Radiohead, and Pink Floyd.
Preferably a vocalist who can sing in the mood of Maynard James Keenan, Dave Grohl, Kurt Cobain.
We currently have a drummer, bassist, and two guitarists. All we need is vocals ( Knowledge of another instrument cool but not necessary. More important is just a good ear.)
All of us are very committed to what we do. We are looking for a long-term member but also have need
for a vocalist for a specific gig.

02-08-12 – Dallas, TX>Austin, TX – Progressive Rock singer-songwriter/guitarist with Influences and Inspirations including Rush, Pink Floyd (Gilmour!), Zeppelin, Stones, Beatles, Sabbath, Maiden, Celtic, Latin, Middle Eastern elements is forming a trio for purpose of jamming, recording, live performance.

I have lots of original material waiting for YOU to add YOUR parts. Not a dictator, I prefer to present a piece and let YOU develop YOUR part, YOUR way (as long as it fits and sounds great!), and I expect the same consideration when it comes to my developing parts to fit what you bring to the table.

There’s odd-time stuff, weird twists, unorthodox arrangements, atmospherics, trippy parts… To summarize I’d say it sounds like original music from someone who has spent 4 decades following Rush, Floyd, and other bands that tend toward the strange. It’s weird but, its my kinda weird.

Plans are to develop and record an album or three (the sky’s the limit), work up some interesting/fun covers, and get out to play, whether House of Blues open mics, local clubs, regional festivals, biker rallys, etc… I’m 49 years old, a professional career with Summer off, and no illusions concerning fortune, fame, or stardom. That being said, its awhile since I’ve had a band, I miss playing live, miss jamming, and just wanna have fun doing my own thing with some like-minded folk!

01-26-12 – Atlanta, GA>Birmingham, AL – I am a drummer from Dawsonville trying to find musicians for a 70′s/80′s Rock cover band. I have been part of several original bands lately but none of them could seem to book more than one show every 1-2 months. The point of this band is play popular songs everyone knows and loves, but more importantly- gig regularly. I imagine us starting off playing songs by artists like: Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin, Ac/Dc, Cream (I know, 60′s), The Who, David Bowie, Heaven and Hell, Pink Floyd, Genesis, Guns N Roses, Iron Maiden, Ozzy Osbourne, The Police, Rush, Dio, Journey, Kansas, Toto, Bon Jovi, Whitesnake, Def Leppard, Van Halen.
