02-08-12 – Atlanta, GA>Birmingham, AL – Our band ” The Velvet Jesus ” is looking for a drummer.

We are a 3 piece instrumental rock band. I am David, 32, the guitarist, and Matt 29, is the bassist.

We have about 8 original songs already, and are anticipating the continuation of making more music. So far, we have played 2 shows, and about 8 open mics.

Our current drummer has other obligations, so we are moving forward.
We get together to practice, and jam, once a week, in Woodstock at my place, usually Saturday or Sunday.

Our styles could be described as Rock/Blues/ Psycedelic/Jam based.

Some influences include Black Sabbath, Pink Floyd, Alice in Chains, Clutch, etc. Were not professionals, and we dont expect you to be either.

01-30-12 – Boston, MA>Hartford, CT – I play rock music with my friends. We consist of a guitarist, drummer, and vocalist. WE NEED A BASSIST!!! We play alot of covers and originals as well. We are looking for a bassist who is willing to creatively add to our current originals, be a part of the writing process for future tunes, and learn covers as well. Our influences include: Radiohead, Rush, The Police, Alice in Chains, The Mars Volta, The Minutemen, Tool, Pink Floyd, Soundgarden, The Who, Primus, and many many more.
