12-25-11 – Los Angeles, CA>San Diego, CA – We are looking for audio engineer to teach me very basic VOCAL mixing in Logic.
I want to be able to mix my mixtape tracks (instrumental will not be touched) by myself without having to go through my engineer for these rather small projects.
My main focus is on:
-applying compressors to vocals
-applying EQ to vocals
-basic auto tune
-turning up overall volume of mix
-cleaning up the mix
(im not talking about the plug ins that come with logic)
The way i see this happening: We would meet and work on a couple of my projects together until i get a basic understanding of the process. During those sessions i will ask questions and towards the end work on a project myself.
Person will need to send me before and after tracks of songs he/she has worked on previously, I can also send out my own before and after tracks that were mixed by my engineer for you to get a better understanding of what i want to be able to do.

11-07-11 – Chicago, IL>Milwaukee, WI – Local production house needs Sound Mixer for a few tweaks to final 5.1 and stereo mix on feature film (86 min). Attention to detail required. Perfectionist preferred. Over 60 inch monitor preferred for accurate audio sync. Can use our screening room if needed, with coordination.

1. Need 3 songs changed and mixed to 5.1 and Stereo fold-down
2. Correct 9 scenes with slight audio sync issues
3. Require AIFF outputs for 5.1, DME, and Stereo; Music CD and Music Cue Sheet
4. QA check of exported project on big screen
5. Work with producers and online editor to ensure audio sync throughout and successful mastering

02-22-11 – Nashville, TN>Louisville, KY – We are looking for a keyboard player that has the ability to take sounds and plug ins from Pro Tools and recreate those sounds in a live scenario. Our music is rock/pop with a heavy electronic influence, so the keys are a very big part of our sound. The artist you will be auditioning for has had gold and platinum album sales in virtually every country except the United States.

Regardless, we are clean and serious musicians with a passion for writing, performing, and touring, and we are looking for people that have flexibility with image and showmanship, as well as a passport and solid experience.

This is not a gig with an immediate payout. That’s not to say that we will not pay for shows, but simply that we do not pay right now for rehearsals or weekly salaries. Those that are hired guns, this is not your gig. We are looking for long-term musicians that want to join our family and commit themselves to something that will payoff huge. I understand that when people see the term ‘National Artist’ and read that the artist is not paying immediately, they tend to become angry and think it is a scam. If so, there is no need for angry emails or reposts saying we are scammers or assholes or anything.
