12-04-10 – San Francisco, CA>Reno, NV – Looking for a very fun, laid back and friendly place to practice your music
on Sunday night? We run a live music night at a travelers’ hostel in North Beach.
Performers get the room and our sound system for as long as they want to jam –
and an international audience to play for. When the music is over, we play some
cd’s and there’s free popcorn.
We book the room because it’s a great space to perform in with a built in audience,
and local performers like to use our sound system. There’s always a great group
of cool international travel-minded people that will stick around, grab a beer,
and hang out since they don’t have to work the next day – it’s actually more fun
than going to a bar and you’ll meet a lot of fun new people. Starts around
8pm/8:30 – flexible. This is a non-paid event. It’s just for fun and a chance for
local artists to come in and play in a fun space which is otherwise closed to the
public. If you’re interested in performing, please send us a link to some of your
music and two Sunday dates which you’d be available to perform (in case your
first choice is already taken). Thanks!
