The editorial assistant will help editors in publishing digital content on our instructional guitar site, , as well as provide administrative support for the editorial department, generate content for marketing e-mails, and handle special projects. Applicants for this full-time position must have previous publishing/web experience or a commensurate level of journalism education. Familiarity with programs such as Excel, Word, and Access is a must. The ideal candidate will be a skilled proofreader and writer, possess solid communication skills, and have a working knowledge of HTML. We’re looking for a self-starter with an eye for detail and the ability to multitask and prioritize projects.
