We are looking for the final few pieces to complete the lineup for the Lehigh Valleys newest funk project. This will NOT be an average bar band playing 8 nites a month. Instead…this band will do approx. 10-12 performances and shows annually…in fine establishements, theaters and outdoor events. Therefore, if you would like to stay with your current band, and come on board with us too…that would be perfectly fine!! Drums and percussuion, bass, guitars and vocals are already in place….ALL QUALITY PLAYERS with considerable experience!!
We are searching for horns, and/or a good synth keys player who can cover horn parts. We would also consider adding a powerful lead vocalist / frontman (male or female). Genre’s and influences will include Tower of Power, Chicago, The STAX Motown giants, and the best tunes from the powerful 60-70-80′s funk bands.

07-27-11 – Cleveland, OH>Detroit, MI – We’re starting a CCR Tribute Band (that will do other southern rock/blues songs as well) and once ready we will shop to open for national acts on tour and perform in casinos and festivals/fairs throughout the west coast. I’ve worked both sides of the desk and this direction is a snap to book with the right team. As a band we’ll write and record an original album as well to market at shows and submit for licensing opportunities. We’ll need to do a few shows and video them for the EPK and from there talk to management/booking agents for national acts that are booking NW/West Coast tours. Pro chops, gear and look needed and must be able to do vocal harmonies accurately and in pitch. At this stage we have lead vocals/rhythm guitar and bass filled by national act quality players with years of experience in both tribute acts and original bands so we’ve got openings for lead guitar and drums.

I’ll be concentrating on a variety of styles but will be more along the blues/country/older rock standards, though not real oldies. I’m a lead guitarist/singer who is a bit older but still can bring it. Some of the influences are ABB, Dead, Joe Ely, David Grissom, ZZ Top, classic country, Los Lobos, Bottle Rockets, Humble Pie, Little Feat, Neville Bros, Robben Ford, Alt Country, etc.

Looking for top quality players,not beginners. I want to form a sharp as knife band that is able to pull off most anything we put out minds to.
