12-03-11 – Philadelphia, PA>New York City, NY – looking for the right singer for our project. band is currently rehearsing w/out full time vocalist so this wont just be a starting out sorta thing. we all have lives, kids, and businesses to run so we are not looking to tour the world. one step at a time. we have plenty of exp. we have other bands we play in. we have our collective shit together. we have a place to rehearse thats nice. we will be looking to do some originals and cool ass covers and see where it takes us. YOU must be good and not blow smoke up our ass. weve seen it all. trust me. some of the music we are currently rehearsing is…. the ramones ( of course, but not any ” hits” ), social distortion, rancid, pennywise, the cramps, radio birdman, x, the damned, lords of the new church, sex pistols, etc…
if this sort of stuff interests you, shoot me an email. we are open to all sorts of things to play. our musicianship is very picky and we wont settle for just doing it ok. you should have a likewise attitude please. would preferably like you to be drug free , as we are, but if your really really really good but have a terrible heroin /meth addiction we still might give you a looksee…

04-22-11 – Atlanta, GA>Jacksonville, FL – We’re called The Hip Transmit and we’re looking for a new drummer to play some heavy 60′s style detroit blues punk rock.
Bands we like: the MC5, Sonic’s Rendezvous Band, dead boys, misfits, sir lord baltimore, (old) bob seger, Radio Birdman.
Bands we don’t like: anything you’ve ever heard on commercial radio.

We have tons of original tunes, excellent equipment, free place to play.

We’ve been in bands, recorded, toured, you know the deal.

This is a part time gig (practice once a week – weekend day, GOOD shows when they come around) SO if you’re in another band THAT’S COOL.
